Do we have to attend every practice.
The Club practices Monday through Thursday, your swimmer can attend as many or as little practices as you choose. Of course, the more practices you attend, the more value you receive for your registration fee.
Will swim club will ruin my summer.
Swim meets are held on various weekends throughout the summer. You can sign up for the meets you want to attend, and omit any of the events you don't want to attend, leaving you time for vacations, camping and summer fun!
Is my kid old enough, or am I too old.
Swimmers are grouped by ability, not age. Adults are welcome too!
The only requirement to be accepted into the club is that the applicant is able to swim at least one length of the pool unassisted (by the end of "rookie week")
Does it cost too much.
Registration fees range from $300 to $400 depending on the skill level of the swimmer. If you feel you can't afford it, you can apply for the KIDSPORT support! (an excellent sponsored program to keep you active no matter your budget!)

For the amount of swimming time you receive for your money, Swim Club is one of the most economical organized sports available in Whitecourt.
Will my kids like it?
Come to Rookie Week! You can try the swim club for $1/day during this "trial period". If you like it, register for the rest of the season. Our coaches strive to make the practices both fun and challenging. Join the many returning families and swimmers and make your own splash!
